Fireplace wall in living room

I wanted to post a few pictures in one post, but I don't know if that's possible. I'm new to this blogging stuff, so who knows. We're in the middle of re-doing our living room. Here's a picture of one part of the room that is finished: the fireplace wall. We lived with just a "black box" in the wall for many years. Brian finally painted the wall and did the ceramic tiling around the fireplace. I added the floating shelves and decorations. The silver vase in the left corner..that's gotta go. I picked that up at Pier 1 Imports, but it's too modern for the space.
